>>>>>>>>>>BIRD IN THE HOUSE>>>>>>>>>>>>

Oh my goodness, couldn't believe that a hummingbird was in the house. Kurt got it to perch on top of a swiffer and he set it free.

This is the second bird that has flown in the front door. I was alone, and I opened all three doors and it finally flew out the opening. I know, you are thinking "screen door, perhaps"? Well, we have thought of it, but Faja loves to come in and out the doors at her leisure. You now know who runs this house. Many more birds, however................I may have a change of heart.

BTW....I suck up the few bugs we get with my dustbuster..

Workshop Update

Kurt spends every waking moment that he is not working.......in the shop. Between the ocean and this fabulous working space he is one happy guy!

He has been working on the dust collection system. Up and down the ladder numerous times. Wish I had a dust collection for the house!!!

End Table

Living on the coast has its drawbacks. We had to drive two hours to Eugene to look for an end table. Fortunately, I found this one at LazyBoy and loved it. Two shelves for me to put my junk on!

Who's Afraid

McKenzie used to say "I don't like Faja's face." We would have to carry her everywhere.........Well look who is not afraid now. They because friends. Not as close as Casey, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Kurt and I are so grateful that the Shields live in Oregon. We miss our grandkids. BUT, Jared and Jaiden are coming to visit in the middle of August. More wet-suits.............and more pictures.

Never Enough Beach

These kids couldn't get enough beach. Moms and dads rented wet-suits for the boys and Casey. They spent seven hours at the beach. What great entertainment. Nikki, Kylie and I went to the outlet mall where Kylie and Nik got great bargains.

Nye Beach Baked Clam Festival

The kids took their turns doing the paint spinning. Levi, Carter, and Casey were fighting over who would be first......while arguing, little McKenzie said "Daddy, I want to be third". Big laughs........Dad said good idea.

While waiting for paint to dry, Carter decided to do some rock climbing....

We all had fun, but there were no baked clams.....What's up with that?

These kids have climbed down the gully across the access road to our house. I have not gone there........its creepy. Nikki didn't go either!

Of course, Faja went everywhere Casey went. She was more afraid of Faja than MacKenzie, but the became fast friends. After Casey left, Faja kept going into the guest room looking for her.

More Beach

Carter wanted the picture of him on the make-shift bridge. Casey is trying to build something, but Faja runs it over. This is the beach I take the dog to every chance we get. Hardly anyone is ever there.

A Great Time

You can not imagine how great it was to see my grandkids.......I missed Casey and Carter soooooo much. We have a great time. They are really beach bums!

We even broke the rules about eating only at the table!
