Orca is still working

We have been living in the house since March. The builder is STILL not finished doing the small stuff.

In fact, we still do not have a final.

The painter broke the handle, and they still have not ordered the right part. 2 months....we call that "coast time"

Final Clean Up

Kurt is cleaning up the front porch for guests who are coming for lunch!

The geraniums are pretty, but when the old blossoms die, they make a huge mess.

More Shelves

Our garage is the most organized in the entire county!!!!!! Needed a place to put all the canned fish.........

Canned Salmon

I'm getting good at this stuff. The "fish monger" at Safeway skinned the salmon and cut it into filets for me.e

Took all day, but I have 8 pints and 5 1/2 pints.

Activities

We went to the Science Center. Its a great place for kids......Hands on

And hardly missed a day at the beach. This is the boys at low tide. Little as they are, they really saw the difference between the low and high tides!

The Boys (Missing one)

We really enjoyed having Jared and Jaiden visit us in Newport. Saying goodbye was tough. Levi came home with us from the beach and a great time was had by all.

Thank goodness for Legos, game cube, and monster trucks!

DEER.....

How sweet is this? Deer at Sunset. We were checking out one area when we came upon these friends. Kurt stopped the car and let the boys see the deer.

They loved it!

Who's Having More fun

You certainly can't tell who is having more fun.....Boy versus dog. My sister used to say every boy should have a big dog. Well, I finally get it....... The boys are fast friends with Faja......And Faja won't leave them alone. She even sleeps in their room!

S'mores

How long can you cook your marshmallow? (I checked the spelling on this).....

Kylie cooks the perfect marshmallow.

More Gehlken Off-Spring

We were so looking forward to Jared and Jaiden coming to visit.

Stacie picked them up in Portland, flew by themselves, and they came to the coast on Friday.,

Jared has grown so tall, and

Jaiden has stayed the same.
Both have wonderful personalities and are having a great time.

Nite Time

Kids were watching a movie while falling asleep. After Grammy, of course......but oh so quiet!

Shields family sleep in the RV so Kearby came and got Kylie....

Always room for more........So missed Casey and Carter.....

The next generation of explorers

You cannot believe all these boys could see in the ocean that day. Imagination.......thats what its all about!

Fresh Canned Tuna

Kurt and I went down to the docks and purchased 17 pounds of fresh tuna, that they filleted.

Brought it home, and Kurt's trainer helped me can it. Oodles of work, but so worth the effort. That 17 pounds only made 8 pint size jars.
