Make shift Menorah............

Well, I couldn't find a box of Hanukkah candles in my tiny coastal town....................so....I made a make-shift menorah. It worked.....The miracle of the holiday. The oil stayed lit for 8 days and 8 nights, and I made my own menorah!

After a somewhat windy day, a couple of roof tiles blew off. Kurt fixed them, of course.





















He also built the cover for the vegetable garden.

Kurt was on the roof getting rid of the pine needles before the big storm hits. I was in the sewing room and he was waving "hi" to me through the skylight!

First Mow

We went down to the rental yard and rented a lawn mower. Kurt hasn't mowed in over 20 years.
















Doesn't it look wonderful! Faja is the happiest and I am right behind her. The wind is flowing fierely and not nearly s much dust is coming in he house......YIPEEEEEEE

Crabbing Boats

I wasn't sure whether the lights would show up, but they did......So far crabbing season is doing well....!!! Thank goodness, so many of these fishermen lose heir lives every year.

My BooBoo

Well, there were SOME of you, and you know who you are that wanted to see me walking with my walker........well, here it is.....

JAYNE'S HERE.........

Nothing but laughs...................We had a great time, like usual. We did some Christmas presents, like we always do.....some weeding of the garden that I can't remember to feed, cooked and just lazed around. For 28 years Jayne has always come and visited me one each year. I really think we should make it twice a year...:-)

Janae.....thanks for the cake! Incredibly delish !!! Everyone talks about dieting and you bring "the man" a whole cake. BTW, he turned his head around and said "I'm not leaving that cake here.......You can FREEZE IT"......:-)

4 Weeks Later

Doesn't it look great! This is after four weeks time. Its November, so the rains have started. It is perfect timing. Although, Faja can't play on it until next spring, Kurt said we can walk on it....

SWF professional embroidery machine

This machine is absolutely awesome. We have three accounts and haven't even gone to training yet........Just remember, we can mail !!!!!

After two weeks......

It was really odd. Dirt and more dirt, and all of a sudden tiny spokes of green were sticking up out of the round.

I took a picture after week one, but it was only dirt.

Cub Scouts......here we come

How cute is this kid????????? The soccer coaches' wife is the den leader and she takes Levi to his meetings. He is REALLY going to love being a scout. He should be the poster boy, although I am kinda biased..............

The games have gotten much more exciting. The play their positions and pass the ball. We one 5-3.
