White Mulch

We didn't get as much snow as the valley did, but there was a covering of flakes on our mulch.

Kurt's truck was covered in icy slush.

Just enough to look pretty.

Fresh Snowfall

First, I want you to know that I took these pictures out the window of our speeding car. OK........not so speeding. It was one of the worst trips we have taken here going to the valley.

The roads were icy and snowy and the average speed was 15mph.

Kurt was wonderful. He didn't complain once going in either direction.

Of course, we were going to a serger class. Kurt hangs out at Home Depot and other places while I am in class.

I was 35 minutes late. Could never catch up, BUT.........I did learn a new technique.

Isn't this covered bridge awesome???

The Breakfast Club..............

Aside from our family, our friends were the hardest thing about leaving Las Vegas. Sharon and John Carter worked so hard to make an awesome breakfast in my honor. Jim and MaryJo McEvoy were there with Bonnie, and Harry and Patty Merrifield rounded out our "group".

Everything was amazing, including their house. The food was delicious, the company outstanding, and the conversation wonderful. Thank you so much. You all are the true meaning of friends. Miss you~~~~~

Full Moon...............

Caught the moon setting on the horizon .........

Eight Years Old........

Where does the time go? Carter turned 8. Something was very funny.

Carter was really happy with his golf game.

Jaiden rocks out......

This boy always has a smile on his face. He also is the best communicator on the phone.
He was dancing on the bed!

When I asked him if he wanted to play WII, so told me, no thanks....I just want to break dance!

Casey ....doing her thing

Casey was singing and dancing. She has rhythm. I am sure she will be in dance and a cheerleader........

She was doing a cartwheel and I caught her in the middle!

Breakdancing

The kids were putting on a great show!

Pizza Party

The grandboys are also getting so tall. Carter cut his hair off, and Jared is sooooo skinny. Jaiden is too cute for words.

Wii is the best entertainment. Jared is playing some baseball and Paige is wandering from one toy to another.

Thats her daddy on the floor.

Growing Up.....

Paige, our granddaughter, is getting so big. The last time I saw her, she was only 2 months old.

She eats big peoples food, walks and talks even. She is a carbon copy of her daddy, with a touch of Ashley thrown in. Jared and Jaiden tried to get her to say Grammy........

Not this trip!

Happy New Year

We wish everyone a very happy healthy new year.

7 years old......EEK......Time is Flying

Levi the surfer boy. We had no candles, so I used toothpicks. The frosting tasted pretty good.

There was a theme to this birthday. A surfboard clock, Ozzies Surf Shop t-shirt, and a surfer magazine. He was so happy.

SORRY.................

Look at this face.......Is this guy cute or what? He is bursting with personality.

Do you think he is happy with the card he drew? You have to watch him like a hawk.

Baking for Levi's Birthday

What a pleasure it is to bake with my granddaughters. Kylie is using my NEW beautiful kitchen aid mixmaster that Kurt bought me for Christmas.

MacKenzie shares the dough........yummmmmmy

More Loot

Everyone came to our house to hang out for a couple of days. We had lots of fun, food and football.

Kylie's Turn

Kylie got a speaker that she could put her nano into so everyone could hear her music.

This was really funny. We gave Kylie magnetic words that would help her with new excuses for not turning in her homework.....She did see the humor in the gift!!!

Presents with the Shields

Grandpa was our usual Santa. He gets as excited to pass out the presents as the kids are to receive them!

Levi was thrilled with his legos.

And MacKenzie loved her "very own" potato head.......

Faja's New Ball

Janae gave Faja a pretty red ball for Christmas.

She unwraps her presents herself.
