ENOUGH ALREADY.....................

I'm just saying........its enough! Look at the size of this hail.

It hits so hard, that it ricochets off the gutters and into the newly planted plants. Not to sure thats "a good thing"....... :)

Fingers are working!

A homeowners job is never done. I was losing socks and unmentionables behind the washer and dryer. Kurt to the rescue.......He built a shelf and then tiled it. It is going to look so nice.

Eerie

There was such a calm before the storm. Weather just kept making its way to the south. 15 minutes later it was snowing. 15 minutes after that the sun was shining and it was beautiful. We LOVE the Oregon coast.

IT'S SPRING.....................................

Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature!

She is totally confused................

We're sure all the new plants we planted for spring, are going to "croak". We are a little bit smarter for next year!

Easter with Everyone ..........

We had a wonderful day at the Shields' house. Good food, lots of laughs, and huge hugs. What more could we ask for!

Ready..Set....Go............

Kylie had to hold back. Kenzie got to go first, and when she saw an egg, she would scream..."mine, mine, mine"!

There were eggs everywhere. Kearby and Stacie did a great job hiding them. They were under rocks, in the gas tank cover, on the bumpers.......

THE HUNT.............

Okay, I know that she is a little blurry, but it IS an action shot!

Look at that kid go!

Both of their buckets were filled to the brim with eggs.

Enjoying the Grandkids

Seems that everyone liked their coloring books, almost as much as the chocolate!

Levi took this picture, all by himself.

Love the Wii !!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I understand why there are 4,000 Wii's for sale on e-bay. This is a great game system for the family.

We were bowling, playing tennis, golfing, and playing baseball. Do I have to mention how good Kurt was at the baseball?

Stacie and Kearby boxed. Not where is a total body workout.

Kurt's Homemade Mulch......

It smells almost as good as a just mowed lawn......................It looks easy, but its really a lot of work. He has to trim each branch or it won't fit in the mulcher. (They forgot to mention that at our mom and pop owned Sears)!

He Made It..................

Ya know, its kinda crazy to look out the window and see some guy flying in front of the house.

Hope my daughter-in-law, Jenna, doesn't see this. She may get some funny ideas about jumping from our deck.................

Not Windy Enough

It took this family quite some time to set up. They even brought their dog.

However, he took his leap, and fell onto the beach. There just wasn't enough wind on this day.......

Yesterday, he came by himself and a friend met him.......It was too windy.....

Yard Work

It never ends........Some of the tops of the dead bushes was blocking my view.........Off with their heads.......:)

Another Rainbow

You may have to click on the picture to enlarge it to see the purple stripe of the rainbow.

After several minutes, it completed the ring......We are still chasing that pot of gold.............

Beverly Beach Bridge

So, we have lived here over 18 months and I never have taken the dog to this beach. Because it is a state park, its usually crowded. But, today we decided to check it out.

Its always under construction, but of course today, we were not allowed to go under the existing bridge.

They were worried this huge piece of concrete was gonna fall on our heads!

There is a whole lot of rebar and concrete here.

Beverly Beach

We took the dog to the park for some Frisbee toss and I wanted to get a couple of pictures of the surroundings. I love the natural grasses. I wonder if they would grow on the side of the hill down to the highway by our house...???

Its very "marshy" here. Really nice.

Its a state park, and they take very good care of the grounds.

Our Hallway

Finally got something hanging on the walls. Found this cute picture hanger in some mail order place. It fit perfect in the space.

Kurt made all of the shelves. It was a chore, because I kept changing my mind but it looks great.

We have taken all of the pictures that are framed, except two of the lighthouses.

My Cyber Friends

We took the plunge and met for the first time in Kansas City, Missouri. We have been a cyber group for a long time know, and decided to meet an an apparel conference.

Can I just tell you, I can't remember when I have laughed so much!

We had three days of bonding. I am sure we will be making an annual trip somewhere ......... every year.

This was taken in the parking lot of the airport.

There were three parties that drove from other places. Two groups picked us up from the airport. I was the last to arrive, and the gals were so happy to finally get in the cars and drive us to the airport.

Grab Bag

Everyone who attended DAX, brought a bag filled with some kind of goodies. We put them on the floor and drew numbers. We took the bag we wanted. Nobody stole from one another.

Private Classes

Many laughs came out of our rooms. Sue was teaching me how to embroider postcards.

Thats Sharon in the chair, and she does incredible hand work. She didn't give lessons, but she did show her work around.

Shopping & Eating

What better way for a group of gals to spend time with each other......
Kathy, Debi, Judy, Karen, Gwen, and Annette.

Our first night we ate in a great steak house. Everybody was busy snapping pictures of everybody else.....

Out On Our Own

We borrowed Debi Morgan's car and took off for a day of fun and excitement.

Here we were in a store called Penzys. They sell spices. I have ordered my specialty spices from their mail order catalog for years. I was delighted to be in one of their retail stores for the first time.

The girls bought a little something to take home....

We had lunch in this cafe. They had Greek food, and it was wonderful. This was a huge step for my friend Annette. She never wanders off in neighborhoods unknown. We had a great time.

Whistle While We Work

Spring fever has hit once again. Kurt is busy moving logs that he cut down from the tree that blew over in one of our winter storms.

Soon he will make new mulch from the smaller branches. The big logs we will use for our "smores" when we all sit around the fire on the quiet summer nights.

Smile !!!!!!!

Jack and Bethany (my great niece and nephew) gave us this cute face for Christmas one year. The first tree that Kurt put the face on came crashing down in the storm last year when we were living the the RV. Geesh, that seems like forever ago. Time seems to be flying bye...................

He is happier in his new location. He gets lots of sun.

Newport's Own Wine & Seafood Festival

This was the first time that Kurt and I went to the festival. Glad that Bob and Jenna were here to go with us. We went on Sunday. Admission was only five bucks and thankfully there wasn't much of a crowd.

How about the guy with the "crab visor"? I tried to talk the into getting one of their very own..........

There were arts and crafts booths as well as food and wine samples. We all had a great time.

Can You Say .............HAPPY..........................

Not sure who is happier in this picture. Faja REALLY misses Bob. Kurt and I just don't roll around on the floor with the dog. She was really torn at bed time and spent some time with him and some time with me.
