Butterfly Bush..........

When we brought these plants home, they were the size of the white ones. Who knew??????They are absolutely beautiful. I so enjoy the flowers in the garden. Being from Vegas, you have to appreciate each and every flower!

The Crops

Soon it will be time to finally EAT something from this garden.

I don't know if I haven't given them enough food, or if I started planting too late.

These carrots look wonderful. I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Newest addition.............

We bought this swing for the back yard. We are going to put it in the corner of the yard so it faces the lighthouse.
Right now it moved from the garage, to the front porch.
We are hoping to put grass on the ocean side of the yard. Too much dirt blows into the house, and Faja is tired of running on bark mulch. I am tired of the mulch cutting my feet!

Wheatland Ferry............

We have to pay a "toll" to cross this river. Its two bucks, and lots of fun.

People picnic here and we see some jet skis zipping along.

You just drive your vehicle up on the ferry and away you go!

Beautiful......Right?

A friend of mine embroidered mypeacock on a professional 15 needle machine. She had to rehoop twice. Isn't it a great design!

I have wanted to put it on here for some time, but always seem to forget.

My neice bought me the jacked and I had a full zipper put in (it was an over-the-head) and it seldom comes off.

Oregon is the perfect climate for a light weight jacket.

First Day.................

The Tanger mall has never been safer! Except for the fact that he has to work miles, the job is pretty easy. Its like forced exercise. Wish we saved some cash for a hot tub.....:(

Our First Crop....

Okay, so we won't be selling at the Farmer's Market yet, but Kurt said they were "delish"!

Our Birthday Girl........

While getting ready to go home, our "birthday princess" was wearing her crown.

14 years old.......While Kurt and I have stopped counting the years, these grandkids of ours seem to be doubling their years. Can it be that we are growing old?

Strawberries.............

Grandpa was showing the kids the juicy, red strawberries in the pot. We bought a teeny, tiny plant last winter at the farmers market and nursed it throughout the winter.

More entertainment...

We were at Don Davis Memorial Park to watch the fire dancing. Kept me up past 10:00........

But the kids, of course, loved the show. Levi said it was the "best night ever!"

Well, you get the idea.

Fast Friends Forever......

Milo is absolutely adorable. The two dogs got along beautifully. Faja let her know who was boss, but she shared her food, water and toys....Oh yeah, but not her FRISBEE.....No way and she would giver Milo a low guttural growl to let her know "don't touch"!

Round and Round We Go......

Fun at the Beach.......

Everybody is always so happy at the beach. The kids LOVE coming to Grandpa and Grammy's house.

The weather wasn't all that perfect, but we all managed anyway.

Today was a great sunny day.

Busy...Busy...Busy...

Levi was entertaining himself with baseball cards. A new interest for him. He's going to be a Dodger.

Kenzie was coloring with our new colored pencils.

Waiting for Kylie

Tons of traffic. We were hanging out waiting for Kylie and her friend, Nicole come back from seeing a friend of theirs from MacMinnville.

Million dollar smile!

Honor Guard???

Before the show started, the coast guard did somewhat of a flag lowering ceremony. I just thought it odd that they "wadded" up the American flag!
