Fun in the sand..............

Levi in the tunnel

Levi was the only one of the group that went through the tunnel.

Sand and more sand.......

There is soooooooooo much sand on Faja's beach. These minus tides are really something to see.

The lighthouse looked majestic today.

Even though this happens rarely, there still are no people n the beach. I feel like it is our own personal spot!

Rock Climbing

A wonderful time was had by all.

Just like a mountain goat!!!

Starfish Galore..........

We found a tunnel!

If you look closely, you can see all of those starfish.

Kenzie was touching one.....eeeeekkkk

Levi pointed out all of the sea urchins, kelp and itty bitty fishes.

Men at Work

My guys were busy digging the mulch out to make room for concrete for the HOT TUB......

Levi worked really hard. He is a huge helper to his Grandpa.

Levi's Baseball game

Just look at that form!

And that million dollar smile!

This was after he hit a long ball to center field.

Taking after his Uncle Corey!

Long reach, right hand behind his back......PERFECT!!!

-3 1/2 foot tide.....

Look at all the sand you can see on the beach at the front of our house. I was out here taking these pictures before taking the first sip of my morning coffee.

I bet there are lots of agates at this beach, because it is very hard to get to. Lots of walking from either Moolak beach or Beverly beach.

Boiler Bay

Can you see the "drum" on the right hand side near the cliff????? That is a ship that sunk years ago at Boiler Bay. You can only see it when there is this unusual low tide.

None of these rocks are visible, usually.

Its a Cruise Ship...........

You can live on this ship. You can even rent a stateroom for lots of money and cruise to their next port. This one was on its way to Astoria. We have had quite a few ships pass by, coming from Santa Barbara because of the swine flu. No ships coming or going from Mexico............

ORCA WHALES.........

This was the most amazing experience we have had while living in Oregon. There was a pod of Orcas right across the street. The pictures are awful, I know, but seriously I was afraid they would leave and I couldn't take my eyes off of them. There were at least 6.....The mama and babies. The dad and perhaps the grandpa had left to go further out in the ocean.

Thats one of the wonderful things about Orcas. They stay together for life. Like Keiko, sometimes a pod will take on another whale.

These guys played for 1 1/2 hours. Pure entertainment, as they breached, slapped those tails, and jumped in and out.

So engrossed was I that I never took anymore pictures.

So watch the video, which isn't so good either, but it gives you a taste of wildlife.

Copy the link below and check out these unbelieveable creatures.
There is nothing, that will top this!
